Energy Regulatory attorney Eric Swanson was quoted in a Pioneer Press article titled “Minnesota’s Public Utilities Say Pandemic Could Hit Their Bottom Line.” In the article, Swanson discusses the challenges that the energy utilities face in amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the petition by the eight energy utilities to the Public Utilities Commission for special accounting treatment for COVID-19 related costs, that will allow the utilities the opportunity to recover these costs later.
