I routinely advise clients on employment law matters, including employment hiring and intake matters, wage and hour issues, non-competition and confidentiality issues, discipline and discharge, and other matters related to state and federal employment laws. I draft many types of employment policies and procedures for clients, including employee handbooks.
My Approach
I advise my clients, primarily business owners, officers and Human Resource professionals, on the best ways to manage employee relations, attain business goals, and comply with the law. I strive to build relationships with my clients, who know that I am available at any time to discuss any legal issues that may arise. Staying current with ever-changing laws can seem daunting. I help clients distill which issues matter most or will have the greatest impact on improving their organization. When employee issues arise, I help clients understand the different courses of action they could take, and we work together to find the best resolution.
In addition to my employment counseling practice, I also have broad general corporate law experience, including mergers and acquisitions and regulatory experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy supporting education and music, and spending time outdoors with my family.
