I represent investors, syndicators, and developers, primarily in the affordable housing and renewable energy industries, in all matters relating to real estate, and tax credit equity financing, including low-income housing tax credits (4% and 9%), renewable energy tax credits, and historic tax credits. Having been involved in more than 200 deals in over 30 states, I am familiar with a multitude of alternative financing options and am adept at providing creative solutions to help my clients structure, negotiate and close their transactions.
My Approach
Understanding (and finding) alternative sources of financing in this post-pandemic market is critical. My clients count on me to provide counsel and advice through the entire lifecycle of a project – from their initial questions on financing sources and third-party participants, to negotiation, closing and ultimately development of a physical asset. I’m able to draw on my experience on both the developer- and investor-sides of the table to help facilitate efficient and smooth transactions for my clients.
Outside the office, I enjoy golfing and am an avid fan of Nebraska and Minnesota sports (go Cornhuskers!). I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my wife and daughter.
