Over the years, I have learned a lot about the power of teamwork, and how much can be accomplished when a group of people know how to be highly efficient together. From my time playing hockey in the NHL, to my clerkships working closely with busy judges, I truly value how collaboration and communication can result in a tremendous product, and this is what I bring to my representation of clients every day. I work to understand the end goal and what my clients are trying to achieve, and figure out the best possible route to get them there.
There will always be a part of my life devoted to public service, from representing clients on a pro bono basis who could not otherwise afford to pay, to coaching high school hockey teams or volunteering in my community. Outside of work, I’m a dad and a husband, and a bad golfer who enjoys hanging out with friends, trying new foods, and exploring the North Shore.
I represent my clients in the areas of business restructuring and insolvency, including the representation of financial institutions, lenders, receivers, asset purchasers, trade creditors, and businesses. I also collaborate with transactional attorneys across a broad spectrum of matters, including sales of assets, financing, real-estate purchases and sales, commercial leasing, and workouts. I value working as a team to assist clients in successfully navigating the many types of issues in business restructuring and insolvency.
