Trademark portfolio management requires a holistic approach.

My Approach

Prior to becoming an attorney, I spent 14 years as a trademark, intellectual property, and brand management paralegal, both in a law firm setting and in-house at a Fortune 500 retailer. I oversaw voluminous caseloads, managed trademark portfolios, helped clients navigate domestic and foreign filings, and provided strategic input on enforcement decisions. This experience informs my current legal practice, which is driven largely by a holistic approach to trademark and brand management. Building out and maintaining a portfolio is merely one step of a larger process—only when coupled with strategic policies on the front end, ongoing analysis, and targeted enforcement can an organization fully leverage the value of its brand. I help my clients create and implement comprehensive strategies to protect their hard work and intellectual property today and well into the future.

Outside of work, I spend as much time as possible with my family. The activities of my two kids keep me quite occupied, and you’ll often find me cheering on the sidelines of some sporting event (soccer, lacrosse, and hockey are keeping us busy these days).
