Most of the time in the creditors’ remedies world, there’s no black-and-white answer or formula that can be followed to find a solution. Every matter has many moving parts that come into play; questions pop up and new obstacles arise that have to be navigated around to resolve the issue. I enjoy using my problem solving and communication skills to efficiently and effectively chase down solutions, to make my clients whole.
Outside of work, I am getting into running, and enjoy golf and traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
I represent a wide range of banks and financial institutions, from small, regional to national organizations, in creditors’ remedies and litigation matters in state and federal court. I have experience working on clients’ behalf on loan enforcement, from the inception of the complaint and notices of default all the way through to summary judgment and post-judgment collection work. I also have experience on litigation under certain banking acts, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Truth in Lending Act.
Prior to entering law school, I worked at the Minnesota Attorney General’s office as a Consumer Analyst, where I handled mediations on behalf of Minnesota residents and examined consumer concerns.
