I represent clients in general corporate law, and have experience providing general counsel services to closely held businesses, including drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, as well as M&A transactions involving purchase agreements, employment agreements, due diligence matters and corporate approvals. I also advise clients on business succession planning, asset protection, and commercial real estate transactions.
My Approach
For my closely-held business clients, I see my role as being another member of the team, not an outsider who gets in the way. I love being the first call when my clients have a question, an idea, or a concern, and talking through it with them to develop a plan. Whether it’s getting a new business off the ground, negotiating a complicated contract, selling or acquiring a business, or leasing real estate, I try to simplify the process as much as possible, so clients can focus on their businesses.
Outside of the office, my young daughter always keeps me entertained, and along with my husband we all enjoy exploring the Twin Cities, biking, trying new restaurants, and going up north to unwind.
