I represent clients in a range of litigation matters, and have experience in industries such as health care, insurance, and others, doing legal research and analysis, and preparing court filings. Prior to joining the firm, I worked in the legal office for a hospital system in Wisconsin, was a research assistant for Professor John Matheson, and served as a judicial extern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Becky Thorson.
My Approach
One of the greatest parts of my role as an attorney is listening to a client’s problem and breaking it down into the legal questions involved. I use that knowledge to dig into what the text says, as well as how it has actually been interpreted by the courts. Finally, I compile all that information and apply to the situation at hand, so that I can work with my client to develop a solution that will benefit their needs. I’m a stickler for the details, and work hard to analyze all aspects of a matter to best position the client for success.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball, and recently completed the Twin Cities Marathon. I’m originally from Wisconsin, but am learning to enjoy cheering for the local teams.
