MINNEAPOLIS — June 8, 2026. Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., is pleased to announce the arrival of two new attorneys to the firm. Shane Chou has joined the firm as an Associate in our Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence practice, and Adam J. Trebesch has joined as an Associate in our Commercial Lending practice.

Shane Chou represents clients on a wide range of data protection, information governance, and privacy issues. With experience researching complex privacy and data protection laws, developing policies and guidance for healthcare and research stakeholders, Shane counsels clients on data breach response and investigations, and supporting organizational data governance initiatives. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E). Shane earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law, where she founded and led the Technology Law & Digital Rights Association, and her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Adam J. Trebesch represents banks and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions, including commercial real estate, construction financing, and other secured lending matters, routinely assisting with the structuring, documentation, negotiation, and closing of financing transactions. Adam earned his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He earned his B.S. in Economics from Iowa State University.
