MINNEAPOLIS — June 4, 2025. Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., is pleased to announce that Kyle R. Kroll, shareholder in the firm’s Business & Commercial Litigation practice, has been elected as Chair of the Appellate Practice Section Council of the Minnesota State Bar Association (“MSBA”). Kyle has previously served in various roles on the Appellate Practice Section Council since 2022 including, most recently, as Vice Chair.
Kyle’s litigation practice runs the gamut from complex commercial to appellate matters. His experience includes class actions, antitrust and unfair competition, false advertising, intellectual property, and more. His appellate practice spans many industries, including energy, finance, manufacturing, and healthcare, and his appellate cases frequently address legal issues that have both specific business impacts and wide-reaching policy implications.
In addition to Kyle’s for-profit work, he is heavily involved in Winthrop’s pro bono efforts and is actively involved throughout the legal community, serving in leadership roles with the MSBA, Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association, Minnesota Branch of the Eighth Circuit Historical Society, and University of Minnesota Student Legal Service Board of Directors.
