The bill, HF 1492 (Rep. Steve Elkins, DFL-Bloomington and Rep. Mohamud Noor, DFL-Minneapolis), is a significant legislative move for data privacy, very similar to a proposed bill in Washington and bearing resemblances to another passed in Virginia.
