On October 2, 2019, attorney Quin Seiler participated in the Colorado Judicial Branch’s Courts in the Community program where students got a front row seat into how disputes are resolved in actual court cases. Courts in the Community, an outreach program of the Colorado Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, was developed to give Colorado high school students insight into the Colorado judicial system and illustrate how disputes are resolved in a democratic society.
Quin appeared with David Davenport on behalf on the appellees in Ironstone Condominiums v. Town of Parker, a case in which two homeowners associations asked the Colorado Court of Appeals to review a decision by the Town of Parker’s Planning Commission approving a new development in Stroh Ranch. The court heard arguments from this actual case, and will issue an opinion within a few weeks.
