Winthrop & Weinstine shareholder Kimberly Svendsen was recently interviewed by Minnesota Lawyer for their “Breaking the Ice” series. As a former federal prosecutor, Kim brings extensive experience in investigating and trying complex white-collar cases. She represents clients facing investigations, compliance issues, and enforcement actions. She is also working to expand the firm’s White Collar Defense Practice.

Svendsen served nearly two decades in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota and the U.S. Department of Justice before she joined the firm this fall. She has worked closely with federal, state and local law enforcement, including the FBI.
