I have experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, advising businesses on corporate governance matters, and supporting large-scale transactions.
My Approach
Before I began practicing law, my fascination with communicating ideas clearly and precisely drew me to the visual arts, where I enjoyed the challenge of refining abstract concepts into tangible forms that others could understand and appreciate. That same pursuit of clear expression ultimately led me to the practice of law, particularly contract drafting, where carefully chosen language can be essential to translating complex business objectives into enforceable terms. I approach my work with the same creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail, recognizing that even subtle distinctions in language can have significant implications. My goal is always to make complicated legal matters approachable while providing practical guidance that helps clients move forward with confidence.
Through my experience in corporate legal departments, private practice, and my law school’s business law clinic, I’ve developed an appreciation for the many considerations that influence business decisions. I enjoy asking questions, digging into the details, and understanding not only what my client needs, but why it matters to their broader goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and exploring Minnesota’s many parks. I also enjoy creating art and collecting board games—Cranium remains a nostalgic favorite.
