Before becoming an attorney, I worked as a scientist where I developed an appreciation for careful analysis, precision, and digging into complex problems. The aspects of science I enjoyed most—researching, analyzing, and asking difficult questions—were the same skills that drew me to the law. Today, I bring the same curiosity and creative approach to problem solving to every matter I handle.
As a litigator, I enjoy learning what makes each client’s business unique, because every dispute has its own story. Whether a disagreement stems from a contract dispute, ownership issues, or another unexpected challenge, the outcome often carries both financial and personal significance. One piece of advice that has stayed with me throughout my career is to make my clients’ problems my own. I bring that mindset to every matter, working alongside my clients to develop thoughtful strategies, craft persuasive arguments, and pursue solutions they can feel confident about.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with a good book, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, or spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, camping, or simply enjoying a long walk.
I represent businesses, business owners, investors, financial institutions, and individuals in complex commercial disputes across a wide range of industries, including financial services, investment management, and technology. Whether working with closely held companies, Fortune 500 organizations, or investment funds, I help clients navigate high-stakes litigation by developing thoughtful strategies that align with their business objectives and positioning them for the strongest possible outcome.
I am actively involved in every stage of the litigation process, from early case assessment and discovery through dispositive motions, arbitration, trial preparation, and appeal. I work in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and mediation forums. I particularly enjoy crafting written advocacy—developing persuasive briefs, distilling complex legal and factual issues, and building compelling narratives that advance my clients’ positions. By combining meticulous preparation, strategic analysis, and clear communication, I help clients make informed decisions and confidently navigate challenging disputes.
