I represent clients in connection with business litigation matters, and have experience drafting and filing complaints, motions, and discovery documents. While in law school, I worked as a Certified Student Attorney with the Family Law Clinic, representing clients in dissolution and child custody cases, preparing and submitting documents to the court regarding client assets and child custody, and also represented clients through alternative dispute resolution procedures.
My Approach
I grew up around sports my whole life – both playing them myself and surrounded by family members who were involved in athletics. Often, people who come out of the sports world will talk about how it instilled in them a competitive nature, which I certainly have, but I think the primary attribute I gained from an upbringing in sports is a spirit of collaboration. Sports teams are all about communication, developing strategies to be cohesive, to meld the varied strengths of all teammates, and to support each other to achieve success. I approach my legal work the same way – I am a zealous advocate for my client, but in a way that best supports their goals and the needs of the matter as a whole, not for any personal glory.
Outside of work, I like to stay active, running, biking and hiking. I love to read just about anything I can get my hands on, and enjoy trying new breweries and restaurants. I grew up in a small town with only a few restaurants, so there’s a lot to try!
