My holistic approach to law is rooted in understanding my clients’ businesses from their viewpoint, not just through a legal lens. I have always been involved in sports, which instilled in me the importance of working together on a team to achieve a goal. I appreciate that everyone has a part to play, and I use my skills to help see a transaction through to closing.
In the realm of affordable housing, I serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complexities of tax, regulatory, and financing structures of their development projects. From facilitating entitlement processes and negotiating site control to advising clients on their capital stack and short-term and long-term goals, I am dedicated to ensuring the success of every project. My role extends to improving financing strategies through meticulous analysis of projections, as well as facilitating connections with lenders, investors, and other industry professionals to streamline deal completion.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I find joy in developing relationships with my clients and understanding their goals firsthand. When I’m not immersed in the intricacies of affordable housing development, you’ll often find me outdoors—camping, fishing, skiing, biking, or tackling the next home project.
I represent clients in the development of real estate projects, including those involving federal and state tax credits. I have experience drafting purchase agreements, negotiating with buyers and sellers, and going through the closing process, including title evidence, surveys, title review and environmental reports.
