Everything changed for me when I entered the Army National Guard. I was 19 years old and was unsure of what I wanted to do in life. I greatly benefitted from the discipline, drive, perseverance and attention to detail that I gained in the military, which I use to help navigate through large complex transactions.
My Approach
In affordable housing and tax credit transactions, everyone wants the deal done yesterday, and I partner with my clients to push transactions to completion. I work with the goal of completion always in my sight, not only on behalf of my clients, but also to see the end result of the transaction, which means increased affordable housing, revitalized communities, and rehabilitated historic buildings that would otherwise sit there and deteriorate.
I love navigating the complexity of the law, how it works and how it can be used to my clients’ benefit; along with my background in tax, I work with clients to find creative solutions to their problems.
Outside of work, I am a huge University of Utah football fan and Utah Jazz fan, and will rearrange important life events to watch their games. I also like working out, running with my dog, going to movies, and traveling.
