What I enjoy most about my work is helping health care providers and other regulated entities move their businesses forward with confidence. The regulatory environment in which these businesses operate is constantly evolving, and I value the opportunity to guide clients through both the opportunities and challenges that come with it.
My practice focuses on advising clients on their business objectives—whether that means structuring new ventures, negotiating contracts, or ensuring compliance with the complex web of state and federal laws and regulations that govern their operations. I also support clients responding to government investigations, helping them navigate these sensitive situations with focus and practical strategy. At the core of my work, I believe effective legal counsel requires understanding not just the rules, but the people and missions those rules affect.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy staying active by hiking, golfing, and traveling to the mountains whenever possible. I’m also proud to serve as a founding member and current Board Co-President of The Dot Twin Cities, which is a nonprofit that fosters connection among women across professional industries.
I represent clients of all sizes in regulatory and transactional matters, with a specific focus on the healthcare industry, including issues related to federal fraud and abuse laws, state and federal privacy laws, and health services licensure, as well as litigation matters, including contractual disputes for businesses in regulated industries. I also have extensive experience representing cannabis and hemp organizations looking to enter or establish themselves in the burgeoning Minnesota marketplace.
