I knew, as soon as I first experienced it as a summer associate, that I wanted to do transactional work. I love working with businesses to achieve a goal, to establish and create something new. I help my clients find opportunities that they might not have known existed, or navigate through obscure processes and procedures they might not be familiar with. Listening to my clients, and then really learning and getting into their problem to create a solution, are the best parts of my day.
I also love to cook – but I really wish I could be an amazing Iranian chef like my mom. I am conversant in Farsi, and jump at the chance to speak it when I can.
I represent banking and other financial institutions in a range of matters covering all aspects of the lending process, including traditional secured and unsecured revolving credit and term loans, syndicated loans, construction and real estate financing, and transactions involving federal and state tax credits.
