Litigation provides an opportunity to engage with my creative side. The law often feels black and white, but when you dig into the details, you realize the importance of the grey area in between and just how unique each individual case can be. Making sense of the unclear and telling a compelling story is what drew me to litigation – I’m able to think creatively and help align the pieces of the puzzle for my clients to help solve their problems and achieve their business goals.
My decision to go to law school was rooted in my strong desire to flex my social justice muscles, particularly in the employment and education sectors. More often than not, people want to do the right thing or learn from their mistakes. I love acting as a sounding board for my clients, where I can provide a listening and empathetic ear, while working together to reach a positive outcome.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time outside or at a coffee shop with my husband, son, and our two dogs. We also love to travel and explore new places whenever possible.
I represent clients across a wide range of industries in contract, real estate, employment, education, personal injury, and commercial disputes. I have experience advocating for clients in mediations, depositions, appeals, and administrative proceedings and, drawing upon my prior clerkship experience with the Arizona Court of Appeals, I am adept at crafting compelling and well-reasoned pleadings, motions, and briefs at both the trial and appellate levels.
I represent large and small employers in state and federal discrimination matters, including claims brought under Title VII and Title IX. I also advise clients on workplace policies, procedures, compliance issues and monitoring, and have experience creating and implementing corporate training programs.
