The best part of my practice is that, at the end, we will actually have a building that didn’t exist before, that provides opportunities to families they might not have had otherwise. Whether it is artists, recent college graduates just starting out in an internship, or families hoping to save for a house, the work we do helps create communities. The importance of this work helps me do everything it takes to push deals through to closing, and keep all the various parties and tasks organized to ensure we close on time.
I work with clients to understand their needs in the transaction, and negotiate on their behalf with others involved. In these transactions, we’re all working toward the same goal.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, skiing, and hiking with my fiancée and our dog.
I have substantial experience in multifamily housing development with a strong focus on the utilization of tax credits and federal agency financing. I also handle general real estate matters, debt financing, tax credit syndication, and the refinancing and sale of mature multifamily housing projects. While I focus on the developer-side of such transactions, I have also represented tax credit investors. A majority of my transactions are located in Colorado and Minnesota but I have also worked on projects located throughout the Midwest, Southwest, and Southeast.
