Business moves quickly, and my clients don’t have time to wait. When working on a deal, I jump right in and hit the ground running, valuing my clients’ time and their business goals to work efficiently through closing and deliver high quality work product.
In my representation of developers primarily in the affordable housing industry, I enjoy working alongside clients on these complex, challenging transactions to guide them through the entire lifecycle of a deal to a successful closing,. In addition to my tax credit experience, I have a background in “dirt” work, which my clients rely upon to achieve their business goals. This vital area of development is important to my clients and their lenders, and I work hard for my clients to take this burden off of them as they work to create more affordable housing in our communities.
Outside of the office, I like lifting weights and spending time with family (dog included) at the cabin. Fall is football time, and I cheer on NDSU every Saturday.
I represent developer clients in connection with all aspects of affordable housing development, including acquisitions as well as tax credit syndications and resyndications. I work with clients from the start to the finish of a transaction, and guide them through all parts of a deal, from a purchase agreement to a construction contract, a partnership agreement to loan documents, and beyond. These transactions involve complicated financing structures, and I enjoy working alongside clients on these challenging deals and creating more affordable housing across the country.
