Renewable energy has always been an interest of mine. As an industry, demand has steadily grown—and as a society, our need to diversify our energy sources has increased along with it. I studied mathematics in undergrad and originally planned to pursue the technical side of renewable energy. Law school, and the legal side of renewable energy and development, proved to be the best avenue to make that dream a reality.
Today, I work with investors, developers and lenders on all types of renewable energy projects, with a focus on the finance-side of those transactions. My clients benefit from my ability to synthesize my technical acumen with my understanding of the underlying legal and regulatory landscape, and I’m grateful to play a part in bringing their sophisticated projects to life.
Outside of work, I love to read. You’ll often find me reading multiple genres at once—from fantasy and sci-fi to historical non-fiction.
I represent developers, investors and lenders on a wide range of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, and renewable natural gas. My primary focus is representing investors and developers on project financing, often including the utilization of Energy Credits, and the acquisition or sale of existing tax credits.
