I represent clients in all aspects of litigation, and aim to provide proactive, strategic guidance for clients, bringing both my passion for client service and extensive litigation background to every matter. Using the knowledge of the courts and courtroom experience I gained working as an Assistant City Attorney, I am able to shed light on the often opaque process for my clients. Through my involvement in more than 200 trials, I have experience with matters ranging from constitutional law, to employment practices, municipal regulations, and law enforcement matters, as well as general business disputes, intellectual property, and trade secret protection and enforcement.
My Approach
Client service, and working directly with businesses to further their goals, is the reason I became a lawyer. As an attorney and advocate, I am committed to developing real, meaningful relationships with my clients. I have a deep passion for learning the details of my clients’ businesses and advising them on a course of action that puts their interests first throughout the challenging and arduous process of litigation.
As a former prosecutor, I know what it means to take the fight into the courthouse. Before joining private practice, I served for three years as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Minneapolis, where I was able to spend much of my time as an advocate in the courtroom. Using the perspective I gained after working on more than 200 trials, contested hearings, and arbitrations, I provide my clients with the practical advice and answers they need both in and out of the courtroom.
Outside of work, I can be found cooking (especially pasta), running around the lakes, and playing soccer.
