I represent businesses of all sizes in a wide range of corporate matters and in merger and acquisition transactions. I have experience in contract review and preparation, legal research, and statutory analysis. I enjoy sorting through the minutia to find the best solution for my clients.
My Approach
Before going to law school, I worked in tech sales for a number of years – understanding the economics of a deal, the ROI for a potential organization, and getting comfortable with being told “no” were par for the course. Today, I use my business acumen, creative problem solving skills, and resilience to help my clients navigate potentially business-altering transactions. I also appreciate that these transactions, while transformative, don’t necessarily define a business.
For me, the story behind the business drives the work I do – whether that business is the culmination of 50+ years of hard work and passion or a brand new startup on the cusp of a big break. I never lose sight of the “why” behind my clients’ objectives and work to find solutions that make sense, not just those that are easy.
Outside of work, I spend as much time as possible with my family and our closeknit group of friends. It feels like everyone around us is starting a family of their own, and my wife and I love seeing our son grow and interact with our friends’ children. With any remaining free time, I also enjoy golfing, watching the Vikings or Wild play, and checking out local breweries.
