Clients seeking litigation counsel are often facing uncertainty that could affect their business or peace of mind. I take the time to understand not only the legal issues at hand, but also what matters most to my clients and what they view as a successful outcome. Clients can expect me to be hands-on, responsive, and thoroughly prepared; someone who knows the facts, the strategy, and the details inside and out.
I enjoy digging into complex legal issues and developing clear, practical solutions for my clients. My experience as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola University Chicago Journal of Regulatory Compliance sharpened my analytical and writing skills and reinforced the value of thoughtful, well-supported advocacy. Whether I am developing a litigation strategy, drafting a key motion, or preparing for a hearing, I bring a careful, detail-oriented approach with a practical and business-focused mindset.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, whether I’m lifting weights, biking the trails around Minneapolis, or spending time at the cabin with family and friends. I’m also an avid reader, and I enjoy exploring new restaurants around town.
While living and attending law school in Chicago, my girlfriend and I survived a random shooting that would forever alter the course of our lives. In the aftermath, we were forced to navigate the legal system from the perspective of those seeking answers, accountability, and support. Despite my legal training, I gained a firsthand appreciation for how challenging and overwhelming that process can be, particularly when the outcome is personal. This experience reinforced the value of trusted counsel and strong advocacy, while also teaching me the importance of leaning on others. The support we received from family, friends, and advisors reminded me that no one should have to face difficult circumstances alone—a lesson that continues to shape how I serve and support my clients today.
I represent businesses, organizations, and individuals on a wide range of civil litigation matters, with a primary focus on labor and employment disputes, including discrimination and harassment claims, whistleblower and retaliation matters, agency investigations, and other workplace-related issues. I have represented clients before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and in ADR forums, and I have overseen all aspects of litigation, from expert interviews and discovery motions, to dispositive motions and settlement negotiations. Whether guiding clients through a challenging business conflict or defending against high-stakes claims, I focus on providing thoughtful counsel, clear communication, and strong advocacy every step of the way.
