Every case has a story, and one of the most important parts of my role as a litigator is understanding that story and communicating it clearly and persuasively. No matter what kind of challenge a client faces, I take the time to understand not only the legal issues involved, but also the people and circumstances behind them. My goal is to help clients solve problems efficiently while advocating for their interests with thoughtful strategy, strong preparation, and compelling advocacy.
Raised on my family’s fifth‑generation farm, practical business experience began long before practicing law. From managing operations, navigating laws and regulations, and solving day‑to‑day challenges, I saw firsthand the determination it takes to succeed. Those lessons continue to shape my approach to each matter and allow me to translate legal advice into practical, client focused solutions.
Outside of the office, you’ll likely find me at the gym, out for a run, or balancing it all out with a scoop or two of ice cream. I also enjoy golfing, reading, and playing cards with family and friends.
My litigation experience includes analyzing complex legal issues, drafting substantive motions and legal memoranda, and preparing cases for trial through witness development, transcript review, and evidentiary analysis. I have evaluated constitutional and procedural issues, supported judicial decision-making by drafting orders on dispositive motions and evidentiary disputes, and worked with state and federal prosecutors to resolve pending matters. This experience has strengthened my ability to develop strategic, persuasive arguments while guiding clients through every stage of the litigation process.
