My Approach

My path to becoming an attorney wasn’t necessarily a traditional one, but it has given me an appreciation for the different experiences and priorities people bring to the table. I spent years working in the hospitality industry while pursuing my education, experience that taught me how to think on my feet and appreciate the importance of genuine relationships. Those experiences, combined with my background in business and corporate law, have shaped how I approach estate planning today.

Estate planning is deeply personal; it’s about making thoughtful decisions that protect what my clients value most, both throughout their lifetime and beyond. I recognize that behind every estate plan is a person or family with their own priorities, challenges, and hopes for the future, and I enjoy helping clients navigate those considerations with care and intention.

Outside of work, I enjoy fishing on Minnesota’s many lakes and spending time with my dachshund, Teddy.

My Experience

I represent individuals, families, and owners of closely held businesses in estate planning matters, helping clients develop strategies to protect their assets, plan for the future, and preserve their legacies. My experience includes preparing and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents, as well as assisting with business succession considerations and wealth transfer planning. Before becoming an attorney, I spent several years working as a paralegal on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, corporate governance, and commercial real estate financing.
