Every transaction has a pressure point – a unique aspect to be addressed or a complex problem to be solved. Identifying these obstacles early, deconstructing them, and working with clients to find a practical solution that allows the deal to progress smoothly is what I enjoy most about my work. Beyond that, I focus on understanding my clients’ business case and communicating with them throughout every stage of a deal. My job is to help make others’ lives easier when they’re at their most complex.
Outside of work, I like to spend my time fly fishing, hiking, and camping with my wife (and our dog). I take a backpacking trip every year, and have backpacked through mountain ranges in Wyoming, Colorado, Montana and Utah – and looking forward to more.
In my work in real estate financing, I appreciate the opportunity to represent clients that are building important infrastructure in communities across the country. My work involves a wide range of clients – from developers to institutional investors and lenders – and a variety of tax credits, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits, Energy Tax Credits, and New Market Tax Credits.
