I represent clients in connection with the financing of affordable housing development, including low income housing tax credits. I apply my tax law education and eye for detail to my work on behalf of clients.
My Approach
I have always had a mind for numbers, and worked with large amounts of detailed data in my job before going to law school, digging through mountains of information. I focused on tax law in my education in a large part because of those analytical, number-oriented skills, and I appreciate having found an area of practice that also allows me to help make a difference to develop affordable housing in our communities.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at my family’s cabin, and making ice cream – my favorite flavors so far are lavender-honey and butterscotch-caramel. I have also lately been collecting old Nancy Drew books – it’s so interesting to see how the character has changed over the years!
