In litigation, fact patterns vary, legal and jurisdictional rules differ, and the stakes are high for our clients. The one constant, however, is the need for us, as counsel, to fully understand our client’s end goals—whether it be quick resolution or a full trial victory—and diligently pursue the best means for achieving those goals. Having spent the last year clerking in the Eastern District of Wisconsin, I experienced a wide array of legal advocacy, and had the privilege of observing how such advocacy was perceived by the court. Today, I’m able to bring this insight and acumen to the matters I touch, along with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and a passion for collaboration.
Outside the office, my partner and I enjoy taking our two dogs, Edna and Winnie, for walks around any Twin Cities’ park, but we particularly enjoy Lake of the Isles on a sunny day. I also love to cook and bake—I especially enjoy making birthday cakes for friends and family.
I represent clients of varying sizes and across a broad range of industries in all types of litigation. Drawing upon my experiences clerking for Magistrate Judge William E. Duffin at the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Wisconsin, I’m able to work efficiently to distill complex topics into succinct, clear analyses, and recognize factual or procedural details that may make all the difference. I have experience performing legal research and analysis, drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda, interviewing witnesses, and investigating procedural questions.
