My background representing lenders and financial institutions in workouts, receiverships, reorganizations, and other bankruptcy-related matters gives me a unique perspective on commercial lending. I’ve seen firsthand how transactions can go sideways, and I use that insight to help clients anticipate risks and protect their interests before any issues arise. By highlighting the significance of even the most technical deal clauses, and explaining their practical impact, I ensure that my clients are well-positioned to make informed and wise decisions.
My goal is always to safeguard my client’s position without creating unnecessary roadblocks. I enjoy the give-and-take of balancing risk with getting a transaction across the finish line—because when that happens, everyone wins. Lenders are busy; I’m here to help lighten the load and find efficient, practical solutions to keep my clients focused on what matters most.
Outside of work, I spend as much time as possible with my family. I have two young children, so our time is often spent outdoors walking or biking by the creek.
I represent lenders and other financial institutions in a wide variety of commercial lending transactions – from construction and real estate lending, to C&I loans and other secured transactions. I also have extensive experience representing lenders in commercial workouts, replevins, foreclosure actions, receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and commercial bankruptcy reorganizations and liquidations.
