I represent business across a wide range of industries in corporate matters, primarily assisting with acquisitions, dispositions, partnerships, and other offerings. I have experience drafting and reviewing contracts and corporate governance documents, conducting due diligence and legal research, and assisting with deal structuring and transaction closings.
My Approach
Prior to my career in law, I worked as a contract and compliance analyst for a small business. The role required me to take on diverse responsibilities and sharpen my abilities in prioritizing, identifying issues and assessing risk. I appreciated the level of responsibility I was dealt, but had little opportunity to dig in and make lasting change, to continue to learn and grow, and to really challenge myself. I wanted a role where I could bring positive, tangible impact for my clients. Law provided me with that outlet.
In my current role, I partner with clients to help bring their deals to life. I view myself as an extension of my clients’ team – if there’s an issue, I work tirelessly to help find a solution. Communication is a core strength, and I excel at solving problems through focused dialogue and collaboration; I work hard to ensure that my clients’ questions are fully answered and that next steps are clearly outlined.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I recently took up running and have since run a half marathon; I also enjoy golfing with friends (despite the fact that I’m not very good). I’m also an avid Wild fan and love catching a game, whenever I can.
