Litigation is about managing conflict. In the business world, conflict is inevitable, but it doesn’t have to be detrimental or burdensome. Whether it’s employers and employees conflicting over a separation, or shareholders arguing over a business decision, the proper management of conflict can make all the difference. My role is taking on those conflicts and finding the most efficient and effective solution.
When I was in school, I worked in a small hometown bike shop for six years, starting out stocking shelves but eventually becoming sales manager and store manager. I got the opportunity to see the inside of a business from a young age, and experienced how ruthless it can be to succeed – from all the regulations and laws to just staying afloat every day. I observed what the average individual who has a dream to build a business has to do to attain and maintain that dream, and I am honored that as a lawyer I get to spend my daily work trying to make it easier for those businesses.
Outside of work, I enjoy weightlifting, traveling to new places, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy cooking, especially Brazilian food.
I represent clients in connection with all aspects of litigation, with a focus on employment matters and contract disputes. I have experience in discovery, legal analysis, motion practice, and brief writing.
