I represent high net worth individuals and closely held businesses in a wide range of real estate investing and transactions, including sales, acquisitions, commercial leasing, and development of real estate. Earlier in my career, I worked at a local title company focusing on residential and new construction services, which gives me insight into solving title and zoning issues.
My Approach
I have wanted to be a lawyer since I was young, and I count myself lucky that I get to do this work every day. I am passionate about working closely with my clients and getting to know their businesses, strategic goals and portfolios, and using all available resources to achieve success for them. At the same time, I make sure to take a practical approach when assessing a deal – it’s important to identify when something is a deal breaker, and when it’s an acceptable risk to get a transaction over the finish line. I appreciate the opportunity to focus on real estate challenges for my clients and help them navigate through a complex transaction.
Outside of work, I love to cook (but hate following a recipe), spend time at the lake with my family, and cheer on my favorite Minnesota sports teams.
