Real Estate Attorney Alex Williams Joins Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A.

MINNEAPOLIS — September 22, 2026. Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., is pleased to announce that Alexander “Alex” F. Williams has joined the firm as an associate in its Tax Credit Financing & Syndication practice.

Alex F. Williams represents developers, investors and other real estate industry participants in complex development and financing transactions. Drawing on past, first-hand experience as a real estate developer, Alex brings a practical, business-focused perspective to his legal practice. His experience includes acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture structuring, development agreements, commercial leasing, title and due diligence matters, entity governance, and the negotiation of design and construction agreements. He also counsels clients on the practical considerations and allocation of risk that arise throughout the development process.

Alex earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, his M.S. in Real Estate Development from New York University, and his B.S. in Real Estate, cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas.
