In eighth grade, I was more of a troublemaker than “future attorney” material. One particular teacher, a favorite of mine, pulled me aside and told me I should think about becoming a lawyer. She saw my instinct to push back not as a flaw, but as a strength that could be leveraged in a new way, and helped steer me toward opportunities like the Law Academy Program. Years later, we remain in contact, and I credit her with my eventual decision to attend law school and become an attorney.
My Approach
I’m drawn to work that involves building something from the ground up. In college, I helped charter a fraternity on campus, ultimately serving as its Vice President, which sparked my appreciation for teamwork and the collective effort behind meaningful accomplishments. Whether it’s working through challenges or experiencing a big win, I thrive on being part of that process and knowing I played a role in the end result. For me, success has been about consistency and determination, putting in the effort over time and staying focused on long-term goals. I bring this same persistence and dedication to my clients; each project is a new opportunity to show up, put in the work, and see something new brought to life.
Outside the office, I love going for walks and spending time in, on and around the lakes. I enjoy how everyone migrates outside when the weather is nice—everything feels so vibrant. I also train in MMA and am currently looking to find a new gym for workouts. If you know of a good one, I would love a recommendation!
