I represent clients in all aspects of tax credit real estate development, especially low income housing tax credits. I have experience assisting clients with purchase agreements, title & survey review, conveyance documents, construction contracts, loan and equity
documents, and other due diligence matters.
My Approach
I first became aware of the extent of housing insecurity during my undergrad education, when I read extensively on the plight of the homeless and near homeless in my community. I was deeply affected by how the threat of losing housing reverberates through the lives of those facing it, and jumped at the chance to steer my career toward creating more housing for lower income
communities.
I am lucky to be able to combine my legal skills with my background in Finance to find creative ways to make affordable housing a reality in our communities. Understanding both sides of a deal gives me perspective that can help see deals to closing, and ultimately bring about the end result of more people in stable homes.
Outside of work, I am trying to get into hiking, and though I’m still new to it, I love being outdoors, even if it’s just taking my dog around the neighborhood or to visit a state park.
