MINNEAPOLIS — October 26, 2026. Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., is pleased to announce that Sicheng “Cheng” Shen has joined the firm as an associate in its Tax Planning & Transactions practice.
Sicheng “Cheng” Shen brings a strong background in tax consulting and transactional law, with experience advising clients on the federal tax considerations underlying renewable energy and tax credit transactions. Prior to joining Winthrop, Cheng worked as a tax consultant, where she advised on complex federal and multistate tax matters and gained experience evaluating transactions and structures from a tax perspective.
Cheng earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and her Master of Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management. She also holds an M.S. in Accountancy, with honors, from the University of Rochester, and a B.Mgmt. from the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in Beijing, China.
