I work with clients in a wide range of industries on R&D tax credit projects. I am passionate about developing a tailored approach for each client and in taking full advantage of client data and information to secure the largest and most defendable credit amounts. I have a background in engineering, mathematics, and accounting and enjoy bringing my unique insight to work with clients in maximizing the benefits of the R&D tax credit.
My Approach
I am incredibly lucky to have found a career with the R&D tax credit that allows me to help innovative companies take advantage of this fantastic benefit while combining the varied aspects of my background – engineer, math teacher, accountant – into one role. I am dedicated to using my distinctive skill set, including analytical thinking, systematic organization, and attention to detail, to find creative ways to make each client’s credit bigger or stronger, or our work more efficient.
In blending my skills as a CPA with my technical background, I serve as a bridge between the technical and financial sides of each project. With an understanding of the financial data as well as the science, I facilitate communication between all parties to further the important and innovative work that clients are pursuing.
In my free time, I love planning outdoor adventures with my family, from a walk in a nearby forest preserve to a hike in the French Alps. I knit and do cross-stitch – I enjoy following a pattern and the attention to detail these crafts require, but I still have much to learn!
