I represent clients in connection with real estate transactions. Before attending law school, I worked in the legal department at a title insurance company and gained experience working on complex claims and title issues. This opportunity really propelled my interest in and enjoyment of real property law.
My Approach
The most rewarding aspect of my work is getting to solve real challenges for real people and businesses, to make a transaction easier for them or play a part in their achieving a goal. As a methodical and process-driven person, I apply this strength to my work by organizing the details, asking questions and gathering as much information as I can to help clients get their deals done and make informed decisions. In doing so, I revel in discovering and tackling the tricky nuances or strange twists in a project that allow me to find a creative solution that makes sense for the client.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to see movies in the theater and trying out new restaurants. You cannot beat watching a movie on the big screen and, although there are definitely limits to what I’ll try, I love the “foodie” experience. When at home, I’m likely listening to or watching a true crime documentary or hanging out with my husband, our chocolate lab Boone, or friends and family.
