Scott’s practice focuses on complex real estate transactions, primarily those
involving federal low-income housing tax credits, federal historic tax credits,
state historic tax credits, new markets tax credits, tax-exempt bond financing,
tax-increment financing, and various other federal, state, and local subsidy programs.
Prior to joining Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., Scott worked in the residential real estate industry. While in law school, he served as a managing editor on the Minnesota Law Review. He also participated as a student attorney in the University of Minnesota Law School’s Civil Practice Clinic. Scott was elected to the Order of the Coif in 2011 for his academic achievements in law school.
