Experience

Kristin Proctor is an experienced tax credit attorney in the real estate practice at Winthrop & Weinstine.   She represents for-profit and non-profit developers in general real estate issues, and focuses on affordable housing projects financed with low income housing tax credits, tax-exempt multifamily housing revenue bonds, and multiple layers of subordinate debt.

Her background includes five years as a senior project manager for a development company in which she led multiple multi-million dollar affordable housing development projects from inception through construction, lease-up, and stabilization for one of the nation’s leading partners in affordable housing.  As vice president for a residential property company, Kristin managed mixed-financed master planned communities throughout the development process, including financial projections, acquisition, entitlements, procurement of financing, public subsidies and outside equity derived from low income housing tax credits, document negotiations and construction coordination.
