term as an elected city council member for Columbia Heights, where she is also
a member of the city’s Economic Development Authority and the Chair of the city’s
Housing and Redevelopment Authority. In

directly impact taxpayers, but also the financial health of her community.
When not practicing law or serving as an elected
official, Diehm finds time to serve as the president of the board of directors
of LegalCORPS, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing free
legal assistance in transactional matters to low-income entrepreneurs and
innovators and small non-profits in Minnesota. She also serves as a member of the Metropolitan Council’s Land Use
Advisory Committee, has served on the
Nicollet-Central Policy Advisory Committee and serves on the building committee
for Crescent Cove, a non-profit corporation seeking to build a children’s
hospice in the Twin Cities.
