Because of my career, I have had relationships with five different law firms in Minneapolis, and I always come back to Winthrop & Weinstine[…]I would recommend them for both small cases and large ones. I have used them in both and have never been disappointed.

Winthrop & Weinstine Celebrates Grand Opening at Schmidt Artist Lofts
Saint Paul, MN - July 29, 2014. Winthrop & Weinstine is pleased to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Schmidt Artist Lofts with Dominium Development and Acquisition and the City of St. Paul. The renovation of the historic Schmidt Brewery, underway since early 2013, is now complete, providing 247 affordable live/work spaces for local artists.

The Lofts will celebrate their Grand Opening on July 31, 2014. Specifically designed for the needs of artists, common amenities include a yoga/Pilates studio, dance studio, pottery studio, play/performance studio, sound studios, paint studio, clay studio, kiln room, tool shop/frame room, multiple gallery spaces and art display walls. The Schmidt project shows the high demand for quality, affordable housing in the Twin Cities region with full occupancy from the first day that it opened.

“We couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this historic property renovation project,” said John Nolde, shareholder at Winthrop & Weinstine, the law firm that handled the complex financial and legal aspects of Schmidt Artist Lofts. “Dominium’s renovation of the historic Schmidt Brewery into lofts uniquely suited for artists is sure to provide tangible benefits to the neighborhood, the city of St. Paul and the state of Minnesota as a whole.”
