. Michelle E. Dawson
has joined the Intellectual Property department at Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A. She is a member of the Patent Law & Prosecution
, Intellectual Property Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Patent Litigation
practice groups. She previously practiced at the international law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP.
Ms. Dawson provides a wide range of patent expertise and services, including patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent licensing, and patent-related corporate deal work. She has worked with clients in a number of different industries and has developed expertise through multiple patent office proceedings, including reexaminations, reissues, and accelerated examinations.
Prior to her legal career, she worked in research compliance and the Office of Regulatory Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
Ms. Dawson received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, magna cum laude
. She is currently an M.S. candidate in Health Services Research Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota and she received her B.A. in English, Latin & Biology from the University of Minnesota.
