Paul J. Robbennolt Joins Winthrop & Weinstine's IP Department

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – January 30, 2012. Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., announced today that Paul J. Robbennolt has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property department as an associate in the IP Litigation and Patent Law & Prosecution groups. Mr. Robbennolt is an experienced patent litigator and patent prosecutor. He litigates the full range of intellectual property matters, including copyright and trademark infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair competition. He has litigated patent infringement cases in several fields, including medical device technology, biomedicine, software, and wireless communication technology.

He has represented clients such as Nonin Medical, Osteotech, and NetCurrents Information Services. He was previously with the international law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Six attorneys from Dorsey & Whitney left to join Winthrop & Weinstine’s Intellectual Property department.

He received his B.A. from Macalester College, cum laude, and his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was the on the editorial board of the University of Chicago Legal Forum.
