Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., legislative attorney and shareholder, John A. Knapp, along with Patton Boggs LLP partner, Ben Ginsberg, discussed the recent campaign finance law change and its impact on upcoming Minnesota election. The Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission affirmed the protection of corporate funding for independent political ads under the First Ammendment.
