Tammera R. Diehm Chosen as One of the Business Journal's "40 Under Forty"

Minneapolis, MN – March 25, 2010. Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., is excited to announce that Tammera R. Diehm has been chosen as one of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal's 2010 "40 Under Forty."

This award spotlights some of the region's most talented and successful young leaders. Each year, the publication receives hundreds of nominations from which they select 40 men and women who have already accomplished tremendous things and are poised to leave their mark on the Twin Cities for years to come. The Business Journal editors selected this year's honorees based on professional achievements, community service and diversity.

"We are so pleased to have Tami recognized for this honor," said Winthrop & Weinstine President Scott Dongoske.  "Tami is not only a great attorney, as recognized by her peers and clients, but is also a great role model in her community and a wonderful person overall.

At Winthrop & Weinstine, Tami is a shareholder in the real estate and campaign finance practice areas. She devotes her primary attention to representing clients in real estate development and land use matters as well as election law issues. In her practice, Tami has represented numerous clients before local governments and regulatory agencies. She has also assisted tax-exempt organizations with formation, IRS filings and compliance issues related to state and federal campaign finance laws. Tami currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Mendota Heights.

While not at work, Tami is active in her community. In addition to providing countless hours of pro bono legal services, she is an elected member of the Columbia Heights City Council.  Tami also serves as a member of the Columbia Heights Economic Development Authority, as Chair of the Columbia Heights Housing and Redevelopment Authority and as an appointed member of the Metropolitan Council’s Land Use Advisory Committee.  She is a graduate of Augsburg College and William Mitchell College of Law.
